For over 70 years, Envision Unlimited has served people with disabilities across all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Envision has a wide array of home and community-based programs benefiting over 2,000 individuals across the state of Illinois. Envision provides center for day services, community living services, employment services, a foster care program, mental health services, and adult behavior analytic services. Envision is now venturing into providing ABA services to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.

We are looking to hire a BCBA to begin our company growth into providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to clients in their homes. This is an exciting position as it is the beginning of new sector of growth for Envision and the hired individual would be responsible for heading up this project as there is expected continual growth in this area.

This position is part-time.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualification:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Previously have worked as a BCBA working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Autonomous in taking initiative in the position but being able to collaborate within the team
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Competent in writing treatment and behavior plans
  • Experience with a variety of assessment tools
  • Ability to provide effective training and supervision
  • Motivated to share knowledge with staff members and families to improve to continually improve the services received

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain a caseload of 6-10 clients
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, create programming for caseload
  • Maintain consistent oversight and ongoing training of RBT’s assigned to cases to ensure accurate program implementation
  • Provide appropriate supervision to RBT’s and BCBA candidates as needed
  • Provide effective parent training sessions
  • Meet at minimum monthly with supervisor to review cases and update on issues as they arise
  • Review data weekly for each client and adjust programming on an on-going basis
  • Promote a positive team-oriented work environment among RBT’s
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships
