Position: Digital Marketing and Development Coordinator

Purpose: The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be engaged in every aspect of digital marketing and communications in support of Envision Unlimited’s programs, services, donors, and social enterprise initiatives. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the donor database and website, both of which are powered by the EveryAction CRM. This includes assisting with the entry of donations, the generation of acknowledgement letters, and the processing of donor information and reports within Envision’s constituent relationship management fundraising database. On the external marketing side, the Coordinator will be responsible for managing an e-commerce site on Shopify; posting, sharing, and commenting on social media platforms; writing and editing website content and electronic newsletters; and supporting online donor outreach. This individual will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a digital asset database in Sharepoint. This role is the first of its kind for Envision and the Coordinator will be able to shape and grow this role as they progress. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who enjoys taking initiative and affecting meaningful change within a well-established nonprofit organization.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience managing websites and donor databases, as well as possess the ability to collaborate with a changing cohort of internal and external stakeholders to grow Envision’s brand. This position requires excellent oral, written, and digital communication skills, exemplary proficiency in time and project management, and a dedication to advancing Envision’s mission of ensuring choice, independence, and inclusion for people with disabilities.

Reporting Relationships: The Digital Marketing Coordinator reports to the Chief Development Officer. The Coordinator will also closely and frequently interact with the Assistant Director, Donor Relations, Associate Director of Grants & Planned Giving, and an external marketing consultant.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Manage content creation, edits, and updates for envisionunlimited.org and all social media channels.

2. Manage Shopify e-commerce site, including loading items for sale, customer inquiries, and fulfillment, as well as marketing opportunities to drive sales.

3. Lead efforts around gift entry, donor tracking, and gift acknowledgement processes; prepare monthly (and as requested) revenue reports, create event specific financial reports.

4. Coordinate use of fundraising database software (EveryAction), including verification of data cleanliness, quality control, and adoptions of new and/or best practices, particularly with regards to integration with the website.

5. Assist with planning and production of all fundraising events throughout the year, including, but not limited to, the Bright Futures Ball, Bike the Drive peer-to-peer fundraising event, Envision Classic annual golf tournament, Autumn Gallery Event and various holiday parties with a focus on development and creation of event-related collateral material as well as tracking of attendees/donors’ gift acknowledgments and moves management follow ups for each event

6. Work directly with program staff to collect, consolidate, and distribute stories for social and web.

7. Build and maintain a digital assets repository on Sharepoint.

8. Work with the Chief Development Officer and the Assistant Director of Donor Relations to support marketing aspects of special events and board engagement opportunities.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

● A personal and compassionate relationship builder able to exemplify and model Envision’s vision, mission and core programs

● At least 3 years of nonprofit work experience in the fields of fundraising, marketing, communications, public relations, and/or similar areas

● Fluent in the language of digital communications and social media

● Experience managing websites, preferably in Wordpress and/or Drupal

● Knowledge of constituent relationship management (CRM) software, strategies, and database management best practices

● Knowledge of web analytics

● Ability to write and speak creatively, analytically, concisely, and persuasively

● Excellence in time and task management, attention to detail, and overall organization

● Self-motivated and driven individual who is able to work independently

● Ability to multitask and manage multiple demands and projects
